Yesterday in Parliament, the Minister of Information and Communication Technology tabled two documents that will guide how government interacts with us citizens. One of them is its first ever social media strategy, which requires all ministries to set up social media accounts and reply to queries from citizens promptly.
The other is a new communication plan for the next three years, titled “Providing Access to Public Information.” This one also commits government to more interactions with the public and media.
