Over the weekend, two senior government officials criticised the Afrobarometer opinion survey. In response to reports that a large proportion of Namibians say government has not done enough to fight poverty, Minister Kameeta suggested Afrobarometer had an anti-government agenda, while Deputy Minister Klazen questioned the survey’s methodology. We released a media statement to clarify what Afrobarometer is and explaining the methodology we used.
