This is the second edition of the IPPR Public Enterprise Governance Rankings. The rankings are based on an assessment of 20 commercial state-owned enterprises (as categorised by the Ministry of Public Enterprises) and use information that has been made available to the general public. The rankings are based on information made publicly available in 2020 (unfortunately the publication of the rankings was delayed due to problems caused by the COVID-19 pandemic). This year, NamPower, MTC, and NamPost jointly top the rankings while the Roads Contractor Company and the Zambezi Waterfront and Henties Bay Waterfront companies bring up the rear. Namibia Wildlife Resorts was the most improved performer.
