Graham Hopwood has been the Executive Director of the IPPR since 2008. He was previously a consultant on governance and democracy issues, a part-time lecturer in media studies, and Public Dialogue Manager for the Namibia Institute for Democracy. He was a journalist at The Namibian newspaper from 1992 to 2004. He holds a BA (Hons) in English from the University of Liverpool.
The Institute for Public Policy Research has a mission to deliver independent, analytical, critical yet constructive research into social, political and economic issues that affect development in Namibia.
