When asked about how they rated government performance on service delivery, Namibians were split, according to the Afrobarometer. A slight majority of Namibians (52%) says government has not been effective in providing housing in urban areas. In other areas, Namibians are more forgiving: 57% say government is doing “fairly well” or “very well” in providing water and sanitation.

This dispatch probes Namibians’ experiences with the provision of four services: water and sanitation, electricity, land/housing, and healthcare. For more details, see the full publication.
