Klaus Schade is an economic analyst who is currently the Director of the Economic Association of Namibia. He has extensive experience in macro-economic and fiscal policy analysis, as well as trade and regional integration issues. For the IPPR his work is focussed on producing the regular Economy Watch bulletin. He worked for the Namibian Economic Policy Research Unit (Nepru) for almost 13 years in various senior positions, most notably as Acting Director from May 2006 until April 2009.
